Policies and Approaches
The Company emphasizes and considers corporate social responsibility (CSR) very important and one of its top priorities.
There is a policy in place, and projects beneficial to society have been carried out including improving environments, enhancing standard of living and community wellness, and maintaining Thai cultural identity.
CSR activities involve promoting and supporting social activities, charitable donations, and volunteering for communities.
In each of these activities, the Company sets goals by combining and utilizing both internal and external resources to maximize its effectiveness. Success of an activity is not only a result of donations of properties, but also an emphasis on participation of corporate employees, other organizations and communities.
In internal CSR work approaches, the Company forms a committee to plan activities consisting of personnel from several organizations. The members brainstorm in designing projects; ideas, communications and work process are synthesized to shape the following model for each activity:
- 1. Activity design is setting up a project, its purposes and outcomes.
- 2. Proceeding is determining steps of the work, budget, internal personnel involved, and participating external organizations.
- 3. Activity follow-up involves evaluating whether activity goals have been achieved or not, communicating results internally and to society, and integrating the activity into society with its acceptance.
