Sugar
Sugar
Core business of the company is manufacturing and selling the sugar. The company is the first sugar company in Thailand, which receive the quality standard of “SQF 2000, ISO 9001 Version 2000, and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)”.
Raw Sugar
Raw sugar is the beginning process of evaporation and crystallization, which have the color index higher than 1,500 ICUMSA (measurement standard of color index in the sugar industry – High Color Index sugar will be darker in color than Low Color Index sugar). The color of the raw sugar will have dark brown color, high dirt index, low purity index, and packed by bulk. So we can keep it easily and long period of time, in the warehouse. Whenever, the company needs to sell the white sugar -- the factory just refines the raw sugar, then it will become whiter and higher in purity index. The rest of the raw sugar will be export to others sugar’s importer.

High Polarization Sugar is the better purity index’s raw sugar, which already passed some degree of purity index. The color of the sugar is brownish yellow. Normally, the color index is around 1,000-1,500 ICUMSA. It is eatable now. The price of High Polarization sugar will be cheaper than white sugar and refined sugar. The company will export this High Polarization sugar to the low purchasing power’s countries by sag.

After the process of making higher purity index of raw sugar, the sugar will become “white sugar” which has the color index between 46-200 ICUMSA. The value of polarization cannot be lower than 99.50 degree. This type of sugar is the normal sugar that end-users’ consume, and use as a raw material for the food industry. Now, Thailand has a price-control of domestic sales at 1,100 baht per sag of 100 Kilograms (excluded VAT). The company will sell most of the white sugar to the domestic food industries, and the rest of it will be export to other countries.

Refined sugar is the sugar that has higher purity index than white sugar. The color is white and clear. The color index cannot exceed 45 ICUMSA. The company will sell the refined sugar to the industries that require high purity index of sugar, such as medicine industry, beverage industry, or energy beverage industry. Thailand has a price-control of domestic sales at 1,200 baht per sag of 100 Kilograms (excluded VAT). The company will sell to domestic food industries and export the rest of the sugar.

By Products
Molasses
Molasses is the product that we get from the process of producing sugar. It comes in the thick and brownish black in color, which has low level of sweetness (not enough cost-effective to re-produce again). Molasses is the most valuable product that we can get from the process of producing sugar, which contain 20% of water, 30% of sucrose, 32% of Invert sugar, 12% of Non-sugar organic matter, and 6% of ash. In the amount of a ton of sugar cane, we can produce about 45-50 Kilograms of molasses. So the amount of the molasses each year will depend on the quantity of producing sugar from the sugar cane. Molasses is the product that can be used in many kinds of bio-chemical industries.

Bagasses is the left-over sugar cane that we get from the roller crusher. The company uses bagasses to generate the electricity and steam, to run the process of producing sugar. The rest of the bagasses will be used in the Khon Kaen Power plant, to generate the electric and will be sold to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).

It is the mud that we get from the process of screening in the vacuum system. We can use the filter mud as a raw material to make the fertilizer. Nowadays, the company gives away the filter mud to the cane-grower, to use in the farmland. In the near future, the company will use the filter mud as a raw material in the process of producing alcohol and chemical product of the company. After decompose the filter mud with the waste water from the factory, we can make the quality of organic fertilizer that suitable for cane-growers to put in the farmland.
